Kizhi is the Karelian Mecca. Thousands of tourists from all over the world visit Karelia annually in order to see this legendary island.

We will go there aside the main tracks.

Throughout the journey you will drive across the Zaonezhiye region, visit several abandoned villages left more than 50 years ago, see the monuments of Russian wooden architecture and familiarize yourself with the history of Russian North.

Journey to Kizhi Astonishing untouched nature, forests, lakes and rivers together with beautiful roads and trails will create an unforgettable experience. The sauna prepared at the shore of the lake will be like a pleasant reward for you after a long and exciting day.

Various off-road trails from good dirt road to marsh log-roads, crossing and fording of rivers are waiting for you all along the route. The highlights of the route are Onega Lake and its magnificent Kizhi Island, and a water safari.

The difficulty of the program can be adjusted according to the group skills and experience. This allows every participant to enjoy the journey and be able to go through the off-road parts of the route with a big smile. Off-road proportion: 40% (dirt, sand)

Day 1

Meeting at the airport or train station in Petrozavodsk, transfer to the Enduro Camp Karelia (30 km), checking-in at the cottages.

After breakfast you have an introductory briefing, equipment distribution, safety instruction, warming-up.

A training driving session in the forest near the Enduro Camp Karelia (14 km of dirt roads). After the session you have a lunch, followed by training session in the sand-pit.

Evening is for leisure. Visit to the Husky farm, sauna, dinner. 

Day 2

Breakfast and briefing. Driving along the route. Fording the rivers, going through the gravel and forest roads (40 km of asphalt roads, 50 km of dirt roads).

After you have a good lunch in the field at Syamozero Lake. Then driving along the route.

Arrival to the camping at Nelgomozero Lake.

In the evening camp Sauna and dinner.

Day 3

Breakfast and briefing concerning the route. Driving along the route. Fording the rivers, going through the gravel and forest roads (10 km of asphalt roads, 40 km of dirt roads). Lunch in the field.

Driving along the route. (110 km of asphalt roads of various difficulty levels). Arrival to the Malaya Medvezhka tourist complex. Checking-in at the cottages. Sauna and dinner in the evening.

Day 4

Breakfast and briefing concerning the route. Driving along the route. (120 km of asphalt roads of various quality , 40 km of dirt roads, 30 km of forest roads as an option).

Lunch in the field on the route. A ferry trip to Kizhi island. Checking-in at the cottages. Time for leisure, sauna, dinner.

Day 5

After breakfast you have an excursion to Kizhi island. A boat excursion to the Onega lake skerries, lighthouses, and islands. Lunch on Kizhi island. Then arrival to Petrozavodsk. Transfer to the Enduro Camp Karelia (30 km). Free time.

Evening entertainment in the Sami tent (dinner, performance of the ethnic music band). Summing up the results.

Transfer to the train station /airport in Petrozavodsk (30 km)
